Consultations & Chats
Absolutely! We do our best to accommodate everyone but since we are by appointment, we recommend calling ahead(call-in) to see what our availability is that day.
We recommend filling out a consultation form, button below, with one of our artists to book an appointment. However, if you are in the area and would like a consultation or to get tattooed, please call us directly at 737-222-5355.
Tattoo Appointments
Great Question! We have a video dedicated to that very thing:
--> I need to prepare for my tattoo
If you have something specific that you think isn't covered after going through that page, please don't hesitate to e-mail [email protected] or call us at 737-222-5355.

When you arrive at the studio, you will be greeted by a liaison or our apprentice.
Please bring a valid ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) with your birth date and photo proving your identity.
Appointments depend on a few factors: sizing, the area getting tattooed, and even how a client sits.
We typically provide an estimate during the consultation, but that will fluctuate based on how the actual session or sessions go.
You can bring one friend along with you at the time of the appointment.
However, please be aware that if it develops into a distraction at any point, we will ask that they wait in our seating area. It is nice to bring support, but sometimes folks become much more animated than they realize when being tattooed.
If we have availability while you are getting tattooed, we would most certainly go over all options with your friend!
Please ask your artist for guidance since there are a lot of variables.
Tattooing feels different for everyone. Some areas can be more uncomfortable than others.
Example: Clients frequently complain about areas such as the rib cage, stomach, lower back, back of the knee, hands, and wrists. On the other hand, some people find these areas to be easy.
Ideally, you would like to wear your tattoo as an adornment similar to jewelry.
No matter what, your tattoo should always be for you; however, it is an added perk when it looks like the piece is worn with intent. Talk to your artist for a longer and more informed answer before deciding.
Pricing
While we can't quote you a price over the phone or e-mail, we do have a tool to help with tattoo pricing that can help establish a budget, our Tattoo Pricing Tool.
All consultations are 100%, hands down, absolutely FREE!
If we tattooed you at Rose and Crown, we offer FREE touch-ups within six months.
If you want us to rework a tattoo done at another studio, we recommend setting up a consultation with one of our artists so we can review the project with you and discuss all the details.
The size, placement, and detail determine all pricing.
We price according to industry standard rates for our quality and service. The studio's minimum is $150, and pricing is hourly if multi-session or by the piece for some single sessions (artist's discretion).
Also, please see our Tattoo Pricing Tool for more info.
Tipping is not required but greatly appreciated.
Think of it like going out to eat at your favorite restaurant. You leave a percentage of your bill to show gratitude for the service level provided.
Healing
In addition to a full night's rest and a proper meal before tattooing, we urge clients to shower and wash before being tattooed.
The reasons for this are:
Decreases the chance of irritation and infection.
We aim for a pleasant experience for you and the artist.
Heal time varies from person to person; however, we recommend avoiding sun, saunas, and beaches during the first three weeks of healing.
You are responsible for your healing; however, we will provide you with all the correct information and are available anytime should you have any questions.
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have a question you think wasn't covered
e-mail: [email protected] or call us at 737-222-5355.
General
YES! Not only do we have vegan-friendly ink, it's all we have. Here's some MSDS info for our most popular ink, Eternal, which reflects the quality we use here:
Made of natural pigments and deionized water.
Free of animal by-products and is vegan.
It is not tested on animals.
Supplied in a medical-grade sealed bottle, ensuring its longevity before and after opening.
Pigments are regularly evaluated for testing.
Cooperates with all regulations.
We aren't actively looking but are always open to the right person.
We have a shop dog, Wendy, the only animal we allow in the shop.
Due to health and safety concerns, we ask that no other animals enter the studio since we can't vouch for them. We understand that clients have different comfort levels, allergies, and other concerns. With that in mind, please let us know if you have an issue with dogs, and we'll make accommodations for your visit.
All that said, we love animals, so cute pictures are always encouraged!
A person getting a tattoo must be at least 18 years of age. Section 146.012 of the Texas Health and Safety Code states a tattoo artist cannot tattoo any person under 18 years old or any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Even with a parent's signature, it is against the law. We reserve the right to deny service to any person or persons.
No. Due to health & safety concerns plus the privacy of our clientele, a tattoo shop is not an environment for anyone under 18.
Much like pets, we love children, yet we can't in good conscience allow them in a tattoo environment.
Sorry, we speak very little Spanish. Please bring a translator if you think you will need help.
Lo sentimos, hablamos muy poco español. Por favor, traiga un traductor si cree que necesitará ayuda.
Yes. We have a slight step leading into the shop, but we are also happy to accommodate or help you should you require assistance.
